That is a lot of time.
Those hours represent the average time students from Kindergarten through graduation spend in the classroom. 1,014 hours is the average amount of time those same students have in church and kid/student ministry over the same time period. For every hour of discipleship inside the church, there are 16 hours of discipleship in a classroom. Most of the time, the discipleship in the classroom is often contradictory to what is being taught in the church.
The question to ask is “How can we redeem this time?”
Christian education.
Stemming from the belief that school can be a disciple-making process, Pooler Christian School became a dream. Christian Education incorporates a Biblical Worldview in every subject matter, preparing students to succeed in all facets of life. I know this to be true because I lived it.

Get to Know Us
From Kindergarten through college and my masters, I sat under the teaching of Bible believing, Jesus loving individuals each year learning to be the man of God that He created me to be. Christian education made such a huge impact on my life, and I believe it can do the same for many others. My wife also grew up with the same experience, and we often talk about the difference it made coming through an educational institution with a Biblical worldview.
Of course, Christian Education comes with a sacrifice. Unlike many schools which are funded by the state, Christian education is funded by those who attend. I am truly thankful for the sacrifice of my parents to put me through the years of education I had.
Knowing this, one of the desires that established this dream was to provide a Christian school that would be affordable for families. Having four children of our own, we understand the financial pressures that come with raising a family.
There is a war going on for our children. It is not against flesh and blood but against the darkness of this world we live in (Eph 6:12). We believe Christian education strengths families for this fight.
Teachers who love Jesus coming alongside parents who love Jesus with the goal of train up the next generation of spiritual giants is what Christian education provides. Pooler Christian desires to train students to be bold for Jesus just like a lion.
Our Mission
Pooler Christian School exists to provide an education with a Christ-centered worldview to each student by intentional Biblical integration, empowering students to excel in relationships, academics, faith, character, and life.
